Carnival Photo Buzz Competition

And the winner is....

Firstly, we would like to thank all of you who submitted pictures. They were all so lovely! Our jury, composed of seven Le Meridien associates (men & women) all gave a score to each of our Carnival entries and the winning photo is the one which gathered the most points. It was a close call!!

We are glad to announce that the winner of our Carnival Competition is Isis Engerer's entry with the following picture, which gathered a total of 24 points:

RAMBO VC Commander in Malta

On the 5th, 6th and 7th March, martial artists and movie buffs are in for a treat at Le Meridien St Julians Hotel & Spa in Malta. Indeed, fans of martial arts will have the pleasure of meeting and training with Grandmaster Stephen M.D. Chang, during the “Martial Arts and Hollywood Secret Stunts” workshops happening throughout the week-end at the 5 star property in St Julians.

Grandmaster Stephen M.D. Chang is one of the top Hollywood martial artists/stunt coordinator/actors gracing the business. He took part in more than eighty-eight movies and TV productions including the award winning ‘Double Happiness’ (1994), 'X-Files' and 'The Legend Continues'. Apart from being a world famous martial artist, his portrayal as the ruthless VC Commander in Rambo alongside Sylvester Stallone is what set Chang in the movie industry.

Aqua Aerobics classes at Le Meridien St Julians Hotel & Spa have definitely lived up to my expectations and more! The instructress always comes up well prepared with a variety of exercises which literally keep us on our toes!!! The fact that the pool is well maintained and the ambiance is so pleasant is an added bonus. I heartily encourage anyone who has not yet taken part in an aqua aerobics class to do so as it is an extremely enjoyable experience and the results are well worth the effort!

How do we make choices in life? Does a formula of ‘ifs’ and ‘whens’ exist to help us take our daily decisions?

When I was young (not that I am not), I used to play a game that went something like this: “If 25 red cars go by, I will eat a tomato”… or anything else for that fact. But the point is, I was conditioning my actions to an external reaction. Basically, I was allowing the actions of others to influence my decisions. What if that 25th red car had never passed, where would I be today?
