an impressive background in banqueting and wedding operations, Le
Méridien’s Wedding Team truly excels when it comes to orchestrates
a couple’s vision into a dream come true. Elyse Borg and Gilbert
Xuereb – both part of Le Méridien's Wedding Team, continuously
focus on the fact that each wedding is unique and should reflect the
couples’ personalities - whether it’s a small seated wedding for
10 guests, or a grand reception for hundreds of invitees. “Weddings
portray an intimate celebration”,
states Elyse Borg, Events Manager. “When
we meet a couple, our priority is to build a good relationship with
them and take time to understand them. Ultimately, this is the most
efficient way to learn how to anticipate their needs and organize
their idea of the perfect wedding.”
Her colleague Gilbert Xuereb underlines another essential factor:
“There
is a lot of stress on the couple before their big day and it is
understandable. Our role is also to reassure them through the whole
process and make them feel that they can trust us. We strive to
minimize the pressure that weights on the bridal couple and their
families. For the Wedding to be a success, we need them to feel at

After the success of the previous editions, Le Méridien Wedding Team felt it necessary to answer to the increasing flow of wedding queries.
