After building up the reputation of its wedding reception services for the past two years, Le Méridien St Julians team felt it necessary to answer to the increasing flow of wedding queries by putting together a week-end dedicated to couples seeking advice and inspiration for the organisation of their special day.

First meeting portal for local venue

This morning, Le Méridien St Julians Hotel & Spa launched its new conference and meetings portal at www.lemeridienmalta.com/meetings.

The portal is an initiative of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, in co-operation with web developers WebCanada Inc. Not only is it now easy for event organisers to access all the information they need related to conferences and meetings in a single location, but it also allows Starwood and its hotels to gain exposure on search engines by working on search engine optimisation with meeting and conference related keywords.

Le Méridien St Julians Hotel & Spa is offering a holistic package to those organising their meetings at the LMSJ Conference Center.


Among the facilities for these "meetings with a twist" are:

• use of a fully equipped amphitheatre
• large exhibition area where stands can be erected for promotional purposes
• interactive whiteboard in the boardroom
• wi-fi enabled meeting space for up to 300 users
• upgraded coffee breaks with fruit smoothies and healthy eating ingredients, including cereal bars.

Ms. Sarah Nunn is the "Wedding Champion" of Le Méridien St Julians Hotel & Spa. She speaks with passion about her role within the Sales Team of this contemporary 5 star hotel in Malta.

"My role is to oversee the whole wedding reception process, including the venue, the menu and the reception details", says Sarah. "Once a couple decides what their budget is, I liaise with the other Le Méridien associates involved, including Reuben Grixti, our talented Executive Head Chef and Andre Scerri, our Food and Beverage Director."
