October Wedding Fair in Malta - Press Release

Le Méridien displays its French flair for romance, on Saturday 30th and on Sunday 31st of October 2010, with what promises to be a great interactive Fair for brides and grooms to be.

After building up the reputation of its wedding reception services for the past two years, Le Méridien St Julians team felt it necessary to answer to the increasing flow of wedding queries by putting together a week-end dedicated to couples seeking advice and inspiration for the organisation of their special day.
Our Events Team has been buzzing around for quite a few weeks now, excitedly preparing the event”, explains Bernice Bugeja, the Wedding Champion of the property. “We have been taking the setting up of our Wedding Fair extremely seriously and we are leaving nothing to chance. We want these two days to be a real success, especially in terms of interaction with our customers.

Indeed, for the occasion the Hotel has partnered up with prestigious suppliers such as Charles & Ron, Qronfla and Tunin, only to mention a few. The program of the week-end promises a lot of enriching surprises, with a myriad of wedding specialists who will be offering guidance and professional suggestions to couples there and then. The hotel will open its door for pre-bridal visits on Saturday from noon till 9pm and on Sunday from 11am till 7pm. The entire Sales & Events team will be on stand by during these two days in order to take their visitors around and provide one-to-one guidance sessions whenever required by the couple. For those who are only interested in experiencing innovative ideas and set-ups, creative displays and live entertainment are scheduled to take place between 5pm and 8pm on Saturday and between 2pm and 6pm on Sunday.

The culinary department of Le Méridien is also on alert: Andre Scerri, F&B Manager and Reuben Grixti, Executive Head Chef, have been browsing together through the most delightful array of possibilities on what to offer to the Wedding Fair visitors. “It is a great opportunity for our kitchen brigade to display its creativity and passion for cuisine”, states Reuben. “But we are not only willing to show off our best cooking talents. We also want to inspire guests by putting our flexibility at their service.”

The dining and reception venues of the hotel will be wearing their most magical set-ups throughout the week-end and Le Méridien Management is expecting a great turn-out at the event, as it will allow customers to better visualize every little aspect of their wedding day. To top this up and encourage couples to participate, Le Méridien St Julians also offers a 25% discount on all weddings confirmed at the property before the 30th of November 2010 and a chance for all the visitors of the Fair to win a romantic trip to Paris for 2 people, flights included.

No booking is required to attend Le Méridien October Wedding Fair. However, potential Fair visitors are more than welcome to request additional information by contacting the team at sales.malta@lemeridien.com
