Mussels... the belgian way!

Did you know?

Eating Mussels the Belgian way...

Real mussels amateurs do not use cutlery to indulge into their favorite dish. One is to use an empty mussel shell to pick out the next seafood delicacy out of its shell. Not only is this a rather cool and practical technique, but it is also a fun way to dine. Picking up the fries with your "shell fork" is also so easy that you will soon forget you've abandoned your real cutlery, unused on the table.

The winners of our Easter Drawing Competition!

Firstly, we would like to thank all the little artists who submitted great creations for our Easter Drawing competition. They were all so very nice!

Our jury, composed of seven Le Meridien associates (men & women) all gave a score to each of our Easter Drawing entries. Since we had mostly young participants and no entries in the older category (10-12), we scored all the drawings at once and the three winning creations are the ones which gathered the most points.

Guests staying at the hotel were encouraged to turn off the lights. The atmosphere in the KuDéTa and the main Reception area was romantic as the lights dimmed and a host of candles were spread about these two areas.

Sparkling wine was served to patrons along with canapés as many hotel guests congregated and also watched the Earth Hour video, that was being shown in the Lounge.

Senior hotel management were present to hand out the drinks and mingle with the guests.
